Hypothesis 1: Older adults with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder will demonstrate impairment on tests of executive function, episodic memory, and processing speed. Aim 2: To explore the cognitive profile that confers increased risk for dementia among older adults with serious mental illness Hypothesis 2: Impairment on neurocognitive assessments of executive dysfunction, episodic memory, and processing speed will increase risk for dementia among individuals with serious mental illness.
